Headway poster concussion 1A brain injury charity is asking local sports clubs to ‘be concussion aware’ as part of a new national campaign launched this month, May.

Headway UK, which supports local people affected by brain injury, will launch the Concussion Aware campaign during Action for Brain Injury Week, which takes place from 9-15 May.

Stacey Ashe has been promoted to Partner and Rachel Buckley has been promoted to Senior Associate Conveyancer.

31-year-old Stacey joined Birchall Blackburn in 2007 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2011, she has worked across a number of the firm’s offices in conveyancing, foreign property and private client fields and more recently she has headed up the Client Services Team.

Solicitor becomes a champion for Dementia Friends programme

A specialist solicitor has been named as a Dementia Friends Champion – as part of a nationwide initiative to improve understanding of the condition and create four million Dementia Friends by 2020.

Rebecca Minto, of Preston-based Birchall Blackburn Law, specialises in all aspects of Wills, tax planning and probate and has joined the Alzheimer’s Society scheme to try and make a difference to people living with Dementia.
